Repair Services
Mechanical Seal Repairs
Montana Seals and Packings features the only licensed and fully functional mechanical seal repair facility in the Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota territories. Our state-of-the-art amenities and inventory of common spare parts allow us to repair both ANSI and API seals of any and all seal manufacturers.
Our facility includes three lapping tables capable of lapping multiple seal faces manufactured from a range of popular materials:
- Silicon carbide
- Tungsten carbide
- Ni-resist
- Stainless steel
- Bronze
- Stellite
After lapping is complete, each seal face is checked and verified to industry standard light band flatness. Our repair capabilities allow us to keep repair costs to a minimum and bring down the average time to repair, further reducing your equipment downtime.
Pump Repairs
Our full-service quality pump repair and machine shop, located in our new 9,000 sq. ft. facility in Billings, Montana, offers superior quality rebuilds, fabrication and machining. With over 75 years of combined experience in machining and pump repair, The Pump Shack expands our capabilities to support all your fluid management needs, while still offering the service you have come to expect.
