DNOW Employees Volunteer at Food Distribution to Help Fight Hunger

The Houston Food Bank opened the parking lots of Traders Village on August 17th to families needing food for a fresh food distribution event. Family and individuals could drive-thru or walk up to the distribution event at 7979 N. Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, to receive nonperishable items and some produce from 8 am till the supplies ran out.

The Houston Food Bank held a food distribution event where 20 DistributionNOW employees volunteered to help distribute food to more than 2,000 families. The event was held on August 17th. Crates, including gallons of milk, sacks of potatoes, boxes of nonperishable food and bundles of bananas were handed out to over 1,000 vehicles. The Houston Food Bank did an amazing job organizing the event, and the DNOW employees volunteering on behalf of DNOW lights were a huge help in making it a success.
