Heat trace cable is used to maintain or raise the temperature of pipes, vessels or equipment. It's essential for systems needing protection against freezing, frost or ice, or for maintaining specific process temperatures. This type of cable contains a conductive polymer heating core that generates heat when an electric current passes through it. Being self-regulating, trace heating adjusts according to temperature fluctuations, producing more or less heat as needed.
